Overlook of Sixth Crossing
The trail descends from the bluffs south of Sweetwater Station to cross the river a
6th time in this valley. This is one of three "mandatory" crossings that could
not be avoided by alternate routes. (The others are First Crossing and Ninth [Last]
Crossing.)
